Before Roof Replacement
Before starting, the roof showed clear signs of age. The south-facing side had visible sun damage, and moisture from bathroom vents had caused mold to form on several sheets of plywood underneath. Our team inspected every part of the roof to ensure we addressed not just the surface problems, but the issues hiding below.
Stripping The Roof
Once we began stripping the old shingles, the damage beneath became clearer. Removing the layers allowed us to replace any sheets of molded plywood and start fresh with a solid, dry surface. Taking the time to prep the roof properly ensures that the new system will last and perform the way it should.
Installing the Underlayments
After replacing the damaged wood, we installed the SealoronXT Deck Tape to seal the plywood seams while still allowing the roof to breathe. Next came the SealoronXT Ice & Water barrier around edges and vulnerable spots, followed by the VeloraONE Roof Underlayment across the rest of the deck. Together, these layers prevent leaks and protect the home from moisture year-round.
Applying The IKO Dynasty Shingles
With the roof deck fully protected, we began installing the new IKO Dynasty shingles in Summit Gray. These shingles are built to handle tough New England weather and resist fading over time. The color gives the home a fresh, clean look that complements the property perfectly.
The Finished Look
The completed roof looks brand new from every angle. The upgraded materials, clean lines, and durable shingle system not only improve curb appeal but also ensure the attic stays dry and mold-free for years to come. It's a full transformation that shows the care and craftsmanship behind every roof we replace.
