Before Attic Mold
This photo shows how far the mold had spread, covering large sections of the attic and weakening the original plywood. The damage made it clear that spot repairs weren't enough. A full deck replacement was the only way to restore the structure safely.
Replacing Deck
Here, the crew has stripped away the mold-damaged plywood, exposing the framing underneath. Removing every compromised piece ensures that no hidden moisture or mold remains. This step gives us a clean foundation to rebuild the roof the right way.
New Plywood Decking
The new plywood decking is fully installed, creating a strong, clean surface for the roofing system. With the mold removed and the structure rebuilt, the home is ready for underlayment, seals, and the new shingles. This fresh start ensures the roof will perform well for years to come.
Roof Underlayments
After rebuilding the roof deck, we installed our water-protecting layers, including SealoronXT Ice & Water and VeloraONE Underlayment. These products work together to keep water out and defend the home during harsh weather. This stage shows the airtight foundation that supports the entire roofing system.
Final Roof
The finished roof, complete with IKO Dynasty shingles in Cornerstone, gives the home a fresh, updated look. Beyond the curb appeal, the new system provides dependable protection and solves the attic mold problem for good. It's a solid start to a long-lasting roofing system that Kader can rely on.
