We began by stripping and recycling the old layer of shingles, to get down to the plywood deck. We then replaced any plywood that had been damaged by leaking through the years. This was a great project for Klaus Larsen. The Central Assembly of God in Wauregan, CT was experiencing leaks due to the fascia and the roof was partially metal and partially shingle. After replacing the damaged plywood, three rows of  Ice & Water was installed. Underlayment was installed, which is engineered to repel water. White aluminum drip edge/rake flashing was installed along the outside perimeter of the roof. CertainTeed Landmark architectural shingles were used to match the recently installed roof slopes. The color was Charcoal Black.

We replaced the backside of the roof on this detached garage because they were having leaking issues due to their old vent boot! They figured they may as well replace the whole back of the roof while they were at it.
