Before Roof Replacement
This photo highlights the state this 26-year-old roof was in, with algae growing over the aged shingles. It was time for Klaus to install a new roof on this home!
Protecting Your Home
One of the first steps in a Klaus Larsen Roof Replacement is to protect the home with tarps. These tarps spread out over the yard and walls of the home, ensuring any falling shingles will not be able to damage any property.
Applying the Deck Protection
At this point, the SealoronXT Ice & Water is applied on all eaves and edges of the roof, along with the SealoronXT Deck Tape. The deck tape ensures no water will be able to penetrate through the plywood seams, and the Ice & Water protects the most vulnerable areas of the roof from any water infiltration, keeping your roof leak-free.
Installing the Water-Tight Seals
Lastly, we install VeloraOne Roof Underlayment across the rest of the roof. This protective layer helps keep rain from getting beneath the shingles and soaking into the plywood, which can lead to mold and leaks
The Final Look
Lastly, the IKO Dynasty shingles in the color Granite Black are installed, giving this home a new, revived look that will last for decades to come with our 50-year warranty! With shingles that are anti-algae, this homeowner does not need to worry about that moss growing back anytime soon. The Klaus Roofing Way!
