Before Roof Replacement
This photo highlights the roof before the replacement, in need of a Klaus Larsen refresh!
Replacing Rotted Plywood Boards
Once the old materials were removed, we took a close look at the plywood deck. Any boards that were soft, rotted, or damaged were removed and replaced with brand-new plywood. This provides a solid and level foundation, which is critical for the longevity of the roofing system and helps prevent future leaks.
Roof Underlayments
Next, we installed SealoronXT Ice & Water Shield in all the most vulnerable spots on the roof, such as valleys, eaves, and around any skylights or chimneys. This self-adhering membrane helps protect against any leaks, giving the roof an added layer of security where it's needed most. With the critical areas protected, we moved on to covering the rest of the roof with VeloraONE Roof Underlayment. This synthetic layer offers breathability and water resistance. It also helps the shingles lay flat and stay secure over time, contributing to a clean finish and a longer-lasting result.
Final IKO Dynaty Shingles
The transformation is now complete. Ryan's home now has a fully updated roofing system designed to last for decades, backed by a 50-year warranty. The final look is clean, professional, and built to handle New England's changing seasons with ease. That's the peace of mind you get when you put a Klaus on Your House.
