Stripping The Original Roof
In this photo, the crew is beginning the roof replacement process by removing the old roofing materials. As the old shingles fall off, they slide down the tarps that stretch over your lawn, ensuring your siding, windows, and plants stay safe from any falling debris.
The Plywood Deck
At this point, the shingles are all removed, the the deck is ready to be inspected for any rotting or damaged plywood boards, which will be replaced with fresh new ones to ensure this roof has the strong foundation it needs.
Applying The SealoronXT Ice&Water
Here, you can see the blue SealoronXT Deck Tape being applied at all of the plywood seams, and the white SealoronXT Ice & Water that will be applied at all edges and valleys of the roof, ensuring all vulnerable spots have extra protection. After these are applied, the crew will install the VeloraOne Roof Underlayment that will cover the rest of the roof, ensuring that if water sneaks under a shingle, the plywood will stay dry and protected.
