This three-story multi-family building in South Boston, MA, was in need of a roof replacement on one side of its flat roof, specifically the section owned by one of the unit owners. The existing roof had aged and was due for an upgrade to ensure proper drainage and long-term protection.

Our team completed a full EPDM flat roof replacement on that section. The roof was already pitched toward the gutters, so we installed a .060 black EPDM membrane for a strong, watertight seal. All seams and perimeter areas were reinforced with JM Seam Tape, and we finished the job with white aluminum edge metal around the roof’s perimeter for a clean, durable edge.

Now this South Boston property has a solid, low-maintenance roofing system that’s built to last.

Elizabeth in Poughkeepsie, NY, recently had her roof replaced by our team at Klaus Larsen Roofing and reached back out to continue upgrading her home. This next phase of the project focused on improving comfort and efficiency through attic insulation. Our crew completed air sealing and added new insulation to the main house, helping reduce drafts and improve temperature control throughout the home. The garage was left as is, per her request. Our crew stripped away all the old roofing, applied SealoronXT Deck Tape to seal the plywood seams, and installed SealoronXT Ice & Water along the edges and valleys for maximum leak protection. We then covered the rest with VeloraONE underlayment before finishing with IKO Dynasty shingles in Granite Black. Both the house and shed now have a matching, sharp new look, and with the strength of this roofing system, Gene can feel confident his property is protected for years to come.
