Position Overview

We are seeking a Siding Installer / Service Technician to join our growing Production Department. This role combines skilled carpentry with siding installation and repair responsibilities. Ideal candidates are experienced, hands-on, detail-oriented, and customer-focused, with a solid background in general and finish carpentry and a willingness to work on exterior home improvement projects.

Key Responsibilities

Installation & Carpentry

• Measure, cut, and install exterior siding (vinyl, wood, cedar)
• Install soffit, fascia, flashing, trim boards, and complete small framing projects
• Complete finish carpentry tasks including skylight, window, and door installations
• Operate and use metal brake machines as needed
• Must have demonstrable skills in general siding installation, repairs and experience using a metal brake-type of machine or mechanism

Service & Repairs

• Diagnose and perform siding repairs, minor carpentry fixes, and gutter repairs
• Inspect and replace old or damaged siding; apply caulking and weatherproofing

Customer Service

• Communicate clearly with homeowners about project progress and timelines
• Represent the company professionally on job sites

Teamwork & Safety

• Collaborate with other technicians, contractors, and project managers
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to company safety protocols

Qualifications & Skills

• At least 1 -2 years Experience: Proficiency in siding installation and general construction
• Tools & Techniques: Skilled in hand and power tools, blueprint reading, and metal brake operation
• Problem Solving: Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
• Communication: Clear verbal communication and customer service focus
• Physical Requirements: Able to lift/move up to 75 lbs, climb ladders, and work at heights
• Driver’s License: Valid license with the ability to drive a box truck
• Preferred: Experience in insulation installation is a plus

Additional Information:

This is a full-time position with a Monday through Friday work schedule, with limited or occasional evening and weekend hours.
