This ranch style home in Woodbury, CT was in need of a roof replacement due to its age and the build up of moss and algae. We began this job by tearing away and disposing of the existing roofing material. We inspected the roof deck, and found 5 damaged plywood decking sheets that we then replaced. Next, we installed two rows of Ice & Water Barrier to protect the home from inclement weather. We also added a Synthetic Underlayment to further protect the home from the elements. For shingles, we installed a Klaus Larsen Roofing System using IKO Cambridge Architectural Shingles in the Driftwood colorway. To finish the job we installed a ridge vent to maintain consistent attic ventilation, as well as replacing the existing chimney flashing and vent pipe boot.
