A brand new roof was put on a cape cod style home in East Lyme, Ct. A full roof replacement was needed due to rotted plywood underneath the shingles. Sentinel Slate was chosen as the shingle color. 

Installing a full roof on this Victorian house in Willimantic was a great honor and privilege for us. The complex style of architecture along with the turret required a highly proficient roofing company, and we were happy to oblige. All of the plywood needed to be removed and replaced, as part of a complete overhaul. We've worked on residential turrets before, so we were prepared with the experience needed to effectively roof a conical structure in a timely and proficient manner. Here was a Willimantic Victorian, with two apartments under one roof. Tenants were experiencing some leaking, and the landlord called Klaus Larsen to determine the cause of the problem. We consistently advise staying away from using 3-tab shingles, which lay side by side and are non-dimensional. They typically blur the line between an inexpensive and 'cheap' product. This roof was replaced with Duration architectural shingles, with Mule Hide purpose made flat roofing on the front shed roof deck.
