Our crew removed the old roofing system and installed new SealoronXT Deck Tape, VeloraONE Roof Underlayment, and SealoronXT Ice & Water to ensure complete protection. We finished it off with IKO Dynasty shingles in the color Driftshake. In just one day, Simon’s home went from weathered and dull to sharp and refreshed, ready to take on the next few decades. During the process, we also discovered that two bathroom exhaust fans were venting directly into the attic instead of outside, which was adding unnecessary moisture to the space. This large colonial style home in Griswold, CT was in need of a new roof and new gutter system. After tearing off one layer of existing roofing material, we replaced 5 damaged sheets of plywood decking. We then covered the entire roof deck with two rows of ice & water barrier. For new shingles, we installed a Klaus Larsen Roofing System with IKO Cambridge Architectural Shingles in the color Dual Black. For the new gutters, we installed 5" heavy duty Aluminum Seamless gutters by Englert. We finished the job by removing and replacing the existing flashing on the chimney with brand new lead flashing.
