We removed the old shingles, checked the plywood for any damaged or soft areas, and replaced what was needed. Once the deck was solid, we installed the SealoronXT Deck Tape to seal the seams, added SealoronXT Ice & Water in the exposed and leak-prone spots, and covered the rest of the roof with Velora One Underlayment for complete protection. Their home also needed partial Smart Eave ventilation, which we added to help the attic breathe better and prevent future moisture issues. This Colonial style home built in 1980 was recently damaged in a hail storm and in need of a roof replacement. We tore off 1 layer of existing roofing material and replaced 5 layers of damaged plywood decking. We then installed 3 rows of Ice & Water Barrier near all eaves, valleys, chimneys etc. We installed a slate gray asphalt shingle which enhances the homes curb appeal. This single-family home in Granby, CT was in need of new siding and trusted Klaus Larsen Roofing to handle the job. We started by removing the one layer of existing siding. We then wrapped the entire house in Tyvek synthetic house wrap and taped all seams. We installed Mastic Carved Wood 44 Siding in the color Quiet Willow. We installed Mastic lineal trim around all doors and windows. We finished by installing a Vinyl soffit beadboard to match the siding in the entryway ceiling.
