Nancy in Berlin, CT, reached out to Klaus Larsen Roofing after noticing a leak making its way into the attic. Although the roof had been replaced in 2012, the issue was enough to warrant a full inspection to figure out what was going on. After assessing the roof, we recommended a full roof replacement to properly address the problem and prevent future damage. We removed the existing roofing system and installed a brand-new roof in the color Biscayne, giving the home a refreshed, updated look. The new roof not only resolved the leak but also provided reliable protection moving forward.
With the work complete, Nancy now has peace of mind knowing her attic is dry and her home is protected with a roof built to last.
Here was a gorgeous Colonial in East Granby, CT that had been suffering from an underperforming roof. Algae and moss were making a home in the seams between the 3-Tab shingles, which do not overlap like the architectural style that we work with. The underlying structure which the roof is supported by, otherwise called the decking, was refreshed with new CDX plywood. To prevent any stealth leaking we also re-flashed a medium-sized chimney. The shingles are made of an algae-resistant material, so this house will look (and perform) great for years to come!
At this home located in East Granby, CT, the homeowner was having issues with leaking skylights within the roof on the home. When we further inspected the roof we were able to determine that it needed to be completely replaced. We first stripped the existing roof and hauled the old shingles to the Asphalt Roof Recycling Center in Stratford, CT. We then replaced any damaged plywood decking to protect the home from any outside moisture and new shingles. In addition, we installed 3 brand new Velux Fixed Deck Mount Skylights with a 20-Year No Leak Warranty. This homeowner can now face the upcoming winter months with complete peace of mind.
This raised ranch in East Granby, CT was in need of a new roof. To start the process we removed 1 layer of existing roofing materials and replaced all damaged plywood decking. We then installed 2 rows of Ice & Water Barrier near all eaves, valleys, chimneys etc. In terms of shingles, we installed Cambridge Architectural Shingles in the color, Weatherwood. We finished by removing all flashing on the chimney with brand new lead flashing. This house is now complete thanks to Klaus Larsen Roofing!
