Justin in Hanover, MA, had a 10-year-old roof with a persistent leak and signs of previous repair work. He reached out to our team for a more permanent solution. After a full inspection, we completed a detailed repair plan, which included removing and replacing all 10 existing skylights with new Velux VS deck-mounted skylights for better performance and weather protection. We also repaired two damaged 4’ x 4’ sections on the back and left sides of the roof by removing the affected shingles and plywood, then rebuilding the areas with fresh materials. To further protect against wind-driven rain, we custom-bent and installed a flashing cap at the top wall where the roof meets the back left side of the house. All repairs were completed using GAF shingles in Charcoal, matching the rest of the roof for a clean, consistent look. Now, Justin’s home is watertight, energy-efficient, and fully sealed for years to come.
