Aging Roof Replaced in Mansfield Center, CT

Richard in Mansfield Center, CT, had a roof that had simply reached the end of its service life. Years of exposure to Connecticut's changing weather had taken a toll on the roofing system, and signs of aging were becoming more noticeable across the home. While there wasn't a single major event that prompted the project, the overall condition of the roof made it clear that replacement was the best path forward.

After evaluating the roof, Richard decided to move ahead with a full roof replacement to restore the home's protection and avoid the growing maintenance concerns that often come with an older roofing system. Taking action before significant leaks or structural issues develop can help homeowners avoid more extensive repairs down the road.

Our crew removed the worn roofing materials and installed a brand-new roofing system designed to provide dependable protection for years to come. For the finished look, Richard selected IKO Dynasty shingles in Frostone Gray, a color that gives the home a clean, modern appearance while complementing a variety of exterior styles.

With the project complete, the home has a refreshed look and a roofing system ready to handle the seasons ahead. The new roof not only improves curb appeal but also provides the confidence that comes with knowing one of the home's most important components has been fully updated. The Klaus Roofing Way!

Victorian Roof Replacement in Willimantic, CT

Installing a full roof on this Victorian house in Willimantic was a great honor and privilege for us. The complex style of architecture along with the turret required a highly proficient roofing company, and we were happy to oblige. All of the plywood needed to be removed and replaced, as part of a complete overhaul. We've worked on residential turrets before, so we were prepared with the experience needed to effectively roof a conical structure in a timely and proficient manner. This job had a remarkable outcome and the home is a lot closer to being fully restored. It is one more piece of Connecticut history that we have both protected and rejuvenated.

Professional Roof Replacement in Willimantic, CT

Here was a Willimantic Victorian, with two apartments under one roof. Tenants were experiencing some leaking, and the landlord called Klaus Larsen to determine the cause of the problem. We consistently advise staying away from using 3-tab shingles, which lay side by side and are non-dimensional. They typically blur the line between an inexpensive and 'cheap' product. This roof was replaced with Duration architectural shingles, with Mule Hide purpose made flat roofing on the front shed roof deck.
