This single-family home in Avon, CT was in need of a new roof. After tearing off one layer of existing roofing materials, we replaced 5 sheets of damaged plywood decking. We then sealed all roof deck joints with flashing tape, in accordance with the new building codes. After installing 2 rows of ice & water barrier near all valleys and eaves of the roof, we installed purpose-made starter shingles on the outside perimeter of the entire roof. We installed a Klaus Larsen Roofing System with IKO Cambridge Architectural Shingles in the color Dual Black. we finished the job by installing a ridge vent to the roof, to ensure consistent attic ventilation. This house is now complete thanks to Klaus Larsen Roofing!
