Yaping in Billerica, MA, moved forward with a full roof replacement on both the main home and garage after the existing roof system began showing its age. Although there were no active leaks at the time, the roof dated back to 1994 and had reached the point where replacement was the smarter long-term solution.

Once our crew began the tear-off process, we found two layers of old roofing that needed to be completely removed before the new system could be installed properly. We also replaced the three pipe boots, re-flashed four skylights, and installed new chimney flashing to help protect the more vulnerable areas of the roof.

To build the new system, we installed SealoronXT Ice & Water Shield in key leak-prone sections, VeloraONE Roof Underlayment across the decking, and SealoronXT Deck Tape along the plywood seams for additional moisture protection.

The roof was finished with IKO Dynasty shingles in Glacier, giving the home and garage a fresh, updated appearance. We also installed SmartRidge II ridge ventilation along the roof peak to improve airflow through the attic and help the roofing system perform properly year-round.

With the project complete, Yaping now has a fully updated roofing system designed for durability, ventilation, and long-term protection.

This beautiful cape-style home located in Dennis Port, MA got a serious upgrade to a Klaus Signature Roof! First, we removed the existing shingles and replaced the rotted plywood decking. Then, we installed Sealoron XT Ice & Water and Velora One Synthetic Underlayment to protect the home from water, wind, and ice. The home is protected with IKO Dynasty shingles in Granite Black rated with a 130 MPH Wind Warranty. 

Here was a historic building that has been presiding over the Lebanon Town Green for well over a century – The Lebanon Baptist Church. Its roof was in dire need of reparation, and Klaus Larsen was eager to take on the job. This project was unique in how we installed a complete new 1/2" CDX plywood deck over the existing structural framing, which created a vented roof deck sandwich (plywood, ISO boards and furrings). We are honored to be among the craftsman that have contributed to the preservation of this town's history.

This ranch style home in Scotland, CT was in need of a roof replacement. After tearing off one layer of existing roofing material, we replaced all damaged or rotted sheets of plywood decking. We then installed 2 rows of ice & water barrier near all eaves, valleys, chimneys etc. We also taped all roof deck joints with flashing tape, in accordance with the recent building codes. In terms of shingles, we installed IKO Cambridge Architectural Shingles in the color Earthtone Cedar. Lastly, we removed the existing chimney flashing and replaced it with brand new lead flashing. This house is now complete thanks to Klaus Larsen Roofing!
