We started with a full tear-off of the aging roof system to inspect the deck underneath and make sure it was still in good shape. Once the prep work was complete, we installed our full roofing system using IKO shingles in Summit Grey, a modern color that gave his home a clean new look. Our crew also installed four brand-new Velux deck-mounted skylights. These not only let in natural light but also help with insulation and airflow. Now, Nicholas’s home is looking refreshed and is ready to face whatever the New England weather brings. Steven in Glastonbury, CT, reached out to us for help improving the water management around his home. After assessing the layout and drainage needs, we developed a custom plan to address problem areas and increase protection. We installed the Klaus High Flow Complete Gutter System along the rear right side of the home to handle heavy rain without sagging or overflow. A cracked PVC pipe at the bottom of the downspout was removed and replaced with a new 4-inch pipe for proper drainage.

The first and second levels at the rear of the house were left with their existing 5-inch gutters, but we made sure runoff would flow correctly. To help guide water from the upper roof to the lower system, we installed a water diverter on the rear of the second level, placed precisely for maximum effectiveness. Now, Steven’s home is better equipped to handle rain and avoid potential water damage, with upgraded drainage where it matters most.

This small colonial home in Cobalt, CT was in need of a roof replacement. We started off this project by tearing away and disposing of one layer of asphalt roofing. Next, we installed two rows of Ice & Water Barrier as well as a layer of Synthetic Underlayment to protect the home from rain and snow. For the shingles, we installed a Klaus Larsen Roofing System using IKO Cambridge Architectural Shingles in the Dual Brown colorway. To finish off this job we installed a ridge vent to keep the attic ventilated, as well as replacing the vent pipe boot. This home is now complete thanks to Klaus Larsen Roofing!
