Klaus and his staff were very responsive and easy to deal with.  I first contacted Jeremy for a quote and he came by and gave me a good overall review of my roof.  He then sent me a written quote ontime for my review a couple days later.  I had some follow up with him for further details of the work and material.  i was busy with work toward year end and was planning to postpone the work till next year.  Klaus then contacted me and after some negotiation, I decided to have the roof done on 11/25.  I wasn't home at the time, but was told the work was done within a day.  They cleaned up the area well and the new roof looks nice.  I wish I had more color choices at the time, but the one I choose was looking good too, but I might have a better color if I had more choices.  I then received my warranty paper in the mail in about 2 weeks, and Klaus told me to keep it and call him any time if I had any issues with the roof. Overall I was satisfied with the work performed by Klaus and his company.

They were very customer oriented, polite and neat.  The entire crew was excellent from owner to worker.  Couldn't have selected a better contractor to perform the work.  Would recommend them highly.

Klaus Larsen LLC quoted replacing my roof.  The estimator was on time and after hearing my issues/concerns provided a detailed explanation on the job and construction procedures to address each issue.  He provided a quote on the spot.  I followed up with the estimator with questions after the quote and received immediate responses.  My job took two days and the removal of two layers of shingles off two roofs, 4 smaller overhang areas and flashing two chimneys.  I was on site for entire two days as I had a very bad experience in the past with a company so I am very guarded when it comes to working on my home.  The crew showed up 15 minutes earlier than promised both days.  The crew was friendly, courteous, and fast.  Klaus was on the job to oversee the beginning stages.  He too addressed all my concerns and offered insight/suggestions that were invaluable as we made cosmetic changes and the installation of new skylights that I was going to remove.  He is a perfectionist and is committed to the customer in providing what was promised and even a little extra.  When the crew left on day two, you would have never known the Larsen crew was there.  My job was not easy.  My neighbors were amazed at the speed and cleanliness of the job.  I recommend Klaus Larsen LLC for any roofing job.  Klaus delivered what was promised.

Klaus and his team were great!  They completed all the work listed above in one day as promised.  His crew worked non-stop from 7 am to 7 pm until the job was completed and looks great!  Removing old wood shingles and two layers of regular shingles makes a big mess, but when the job was done the house and yard looked great!  I didn't find any materials, nails or trash of any kind in my yard.  They even bring their own portable bathroom so there is no need to use your home bathroom or leave the site.  I had some questions a couple of days after the job was completed and Klaus got back to me right away and met me at my house to go over my questions and was very professional and explained how the DCi soffit works by going back up to my attic to show me.  Klaus and his team did a fantastic job and customer service was superior.

I have to start with saying I experienced 3 outstanding events with roofing contractor Klaus Larsen.  First outstanding event was the presentation by his sales rep. Jeremy Minter.  Second the outstanding professional approach taken by the owner Klaus Larsen.  And last but certainly not least the outstanding work performed by his work force.  In one day my house went from looking shabby to looking fantastic.  Bottom line JOB WELL DONE!!

Amazing!  These guys are fantastic and I would highly recommend to everyone.  I needed a new roof - including rip off of 3 layers, all new wood deck, and ventilation. I did my homework and met with more roofers than you could imagine before choosing Klaus Larsen. After doing my own research and talking with the town inspectors on what was needed to properly install a roof with ventilation on my house (I have a difficult roof high, steep, original cedar shake, finished attic, no ventilation, etc.).  I was amazed to find how many roofers didn't really know their stuff - and were very pricy.  Jeremy came out to the house and was able to talk to me about my roof needs knowledgably (finally!) and blew the others out of the water. He knew his stuff and was even able to discuss different options with me, working with me to determine the best roofing solution for my house.  He didn't try to sell me more of a roof than I needed and listened to the issues that needed to be addressed.  Klaus Larsen used better quality products than others I met with, were able to do the job in less than half the time and they were more responsive than any other roofing contractor I dealt with.  Just when I thought it couldn't get any better than this, Jeremy gave me an estimate same day and they were less expensive. Yes, less expensive! I couldn't believe it. My roof was scheduled within two weeks. The crew showed up on time (or even a little early) and got straight to work.  The professionalism and skill of the team was incredible.  They worked tirelessly and meticulously the first day to get as much done as possible given the forecast for rain the following afternoon.  They brought a trailer for the garbage that was removed daily, handled all the permits and even brought their own bathroom.  The team was pleasant, helpful and left my yard immaculate.  The owner Klaus was onsite often and checked in with myself and the crew regularly.  I could not imagine a better experience.  They were so good in fact, my neighbor had them come and do his roof the next day!  If you need a new roof or a new roof repair call these guys immediately.

My initail quote was provided by Klaus Larsen, the owner.  He was very informative and professional and discussed his company, the products he sold and detailed the roof replacement installation process.  He answered all my questions to my satisfaction.  While I quickly felt comfortable with Klaus and his organization I was concerned that his quote was more than I intended to spend so I decided to shop around.  Klaus left me with an itemized estimate, documents regarding his company, brochures on the products and details on the warranty, a long list of references and a copy of his contractor license and insurance policy information. After shopping around I concluded that Klaus Larsen provided the best solution for the best price, best warranty and best overall reputation for quality service.  I had received one competitive quote that was $5000 higher than the Klaus Larsen quote with additional cost on a replacement of roof plywood if needed.  I learned that when replacing a roof once the shingles are removed it may be discovered that some of the plywood roof sheets need to be replaced due to water damage.  Many roofers quote without plywood replacement and with and additional cost for plywood replacement as needed.  The quote from Klaus Larsen for a total roofing system includes replacement of any and all plywood as necessary.  This eliminates the surprise of a much higher total cost than the original quote provided due to plywood replacement.  Upon deciding to go with Klaus Larsen I met with Jeremy Minter to sign a contract.  Jeremy was very professional and helpful and clearly the installation process and answered my remaining questions.  I was surprised that they were able to schedule to work so quickly and we agreed on a date for installation for the following week with an expectation to complete the job on my two story home in one and a half days.  Other contractors had estimated three to four days to complete the job. On the day of installation the crew was in my driveway around 7:10am and Klaus arrived shortly thereafter to review the work to be done and supervise his crew as they began removing two layers of shingles.  The crew of 8 used large tarps hung from the roof edge to protect my home and shrubs during the removal of the old shingles.  Two crew members stayed on the ground throughout the day keeping the yard clean and assisting the 6 other crewmen from the ground as required.  Within a few hours shingle removal was complete and the old shingles were loaded into a trailer and hauled away.  Next they replaced 20 water damaged plywood sheets and drilled venting holes in my soffits to improve air flow because my soffits had not previously been vented.  Once this work was complete 6 crewmen installed drip edges, underlayment, ice and water barriers, vent boots, chimney flashing, ridge vents and new shingles.  The crew was very organized, and worked very had throughout the day and did a quality job, better than I anticipated.  By the end of the first day the installation was complete and my yard was clean.  Klaus Larsen arrived around 5:00 pm to inspect the job and make certain that I was satisfied with all aspects of the job.  There was one remaining issue that needed to be addressed but the company was very responsive until the final issue was resolved to my satisfaction.  I knew from other reviews that they would do a good job but I was still impressed with the responsiveness and quality of their work.  I am very happy that I decided on the Klaus Larsen organization to do the installation.  I have already recommended Klaus Larsen to a relative.

The company came out to do a roofing check - very professional, did not find any problems and did not try to sell me something I did not need.

I first received a letter from my neighbor that he was considering using Klaus Larsen to install a new roof.  He had done his homework and received several quotes from different contractors.  My neighbor reached out to several neighbors and because of the number of people impressed with previous work done in the neighborhood, 13 neighbors signed on this year and received a group discount.  The letter described the differences between Klaus Larsen and other companies.  Also a detailed list of what is included in the quote. The salesman, Jeremy followed up with a visit to my house to see if I was interested.  We then set up an appointment.  Jeremy was on time, polite, professional and extremely patient.  He answered all of my questions.  I followed up several times by texting Jeremy with more questions and a change to my date for installation.  He was quick to respond. A large crew showed up early in the morning and the roof was installed by the time I got home from work.  They left the yard clean and had even brought their own toilet.  They promised a $1 for any nails found in the yard.  So far no nails.  My house is a two story, 3 bedroom colonial with 2 small dormers and one large dormer.  The total cost was $6810. Klaus Larsen the owner came the next day to run my charge card and was genuinely interested in how I felt about the process and the roof. This was a major decision on my side since I have limited funds with a son being in college.  To top that I am a single woman and have often had service companies or repair companies take advantage by upcharging after a quote was given and half way through a project with no way out.  I was extremely nervous about trusting another contractor.  I want to assure others in my situation or similar situation to not worry and feel confident about trusting this company. I will recommend Klaus Larsen to my friends and family without hesitation.

Jeremy arrived right on time and went right to work in a very professional manner.  When he had completed the inspection and caulking we had a delightful chat during which I asked him for his thoughts on the condition of our roof.  He said it was in good shape for its age and I had a couple of more years with it.  I asked him if he could send me a quote on replacing it as we like to be proactive in these areas.  Much to my surprise he sat in his car and printed me out a formal quotation and explained the entire replacement process to me.  You can usually tell the quality of a company by the quality of its representative and his presentation.  Let me tell you Jeremy is a fine representative who represents a terrific company.  I have since researched his company additionally and I am thoroughly convinced that they will be a great company to work with and I can assure you they will be at the top of my list when it comes to roof replacement time.  If you try them I am sure you will agree.
