Roof Replacement in Middlefield, CT

Greg and Elaine in Middlefield, CT, have a stunning, spacious home that needed a full roof replacement to protect it for decades to come. Their existing roof was showing signs of age, and they wanted something durable, beautiful, and built to last. Our crew began by carefully removing the old roofing material and inspecting the wood decking underneath. Any compromised plywood was replaced to ensure a solid foundation for the new system. Once the roof deck was prepped, we installed our complete Klaus Larsen Roofing System, starting with SealoronXT Deck Tape between the plywood boards to seal joints while still allowing the wood to breathe. Next, we applied SealoronXT Ice & Water Shield over the eaves, valleys, and other vulnerable areas for superior leak protection. The remaining sections were covered with VeloraONE Roof Underlayment, which creates a waterproof barrier against moisture and wind-driven rain. To complete the system, we installed IKO Dynasty shingles in the color Glacier. These architectural shingles feature a reinforced ArmourZone strip and FastLock sealant that provide maximum protection and a 130 MPH wind warranty, ensuring strength and beauty even in New England’s toughest weather. We also upgraded their home with a new Velux M08 Fresh Air Deck Mount Skylight. This addition brings more natural light and ventilation into the home while maintaining energy efficiency.

With this full roof replacement and skylight installation, Greg and Elaine can enjoy peace of mind knowing their gorgeous home is protected by the Klaus Larsen Roofing System, backed by our 50-year transferable workmanship warranty. The Klaus Roofing Way!
