Seeking a contractor to carry out a roof replacement, owners of this 1994 Colonial-style home trusted Klaus Larsen Roofing with the job. We started by tearing off one layer of existing roofing materials, as well as replacing 5 layers of damaged plywood decking.Next, we installed three rows of Ice & Water Barrier near roof valleys, eaves, chimneys, etc. For shingles, we installed Oakridge Shingles in the color Estate Gray. These shingles included an Algae-Resistance Limited Warranty as well as a 130 MPH Wind Resistance Warranty. Lastly, we removed and replaced flashing on the chimney with brand new lead flashing. This attractive home is now complete with its new Klaus Larsen roof installment!

This barn-style garage located in Westbrook, CT required a new roof and Klaus Larsen Roofing was able to do just that! We started this project by tearing away one layer of existing roofing materials and disposing of them properly. We inspected the roof decking for damage, and we found 3 damaged plywood decking sheets which we removed and replaced. To protect against rain and snow, we installed two rows of Ice & Water Barrier as well as a layer of Synthetic Underlayment to help repel water. This raised ranch home located in Moodus, CT had a roof well over 20 years old. This roof was in need of a full roof replacement and installation of a new roofing system. We stripped the existing roof and replaced any damaged plywood decking. Then, we laid down Ice & Water Shield to protect the interior of the home from any moisture. To follow the Ice & Water Shield we laid down ProArmor Synthetic Underlayment to add a second layer of moisture and water repellant. To finish this roofing system off, we put in ProEdge Hip & Ridge Shingles on all ridges and hips and replaced the existing vent pipe boot.
