Roof Replacement Before & After Photos

This small two family home's roof in Willington, CT has seen better days and was in need of a replacement. To start this project we tore away and disposed of one layer of existing asphalt roofing. We then inspected the roof's deck, where we found 5 damaged sheets of plywood decking which were then removed and replaced. Two rows of Ice & Water Barrier were installed to protect the home from the elements. For shingles, we installed a Klaus Larsen Roofing System with Cambridge Architectural Shingles in the Dual Grey colorway. To finish this project we installed a brand new chimney lead flashing and a vent pipe to replace the old ones. This home is now complete thanks to Klaus Larsen Roofing!

During the roof replacement, we also replaced two of their skylight with brand new Velux skylights with Laminated, Low-E, "Clean, Safe, Quiet" glass with Velux factory flashing kit. It's ideal to install brand new skylights at the same time as a new roof install as it's very difficult to re-flash an existing skylight.
