This single-family home in Columbia, CT was in need of a new roof and gutter guards. We started by tearing off one layer of existing roofing materials and replacing 3 layers of damaged plywood decking. We installed 2 rows of Ice & Water barrier near all eaves, valleys, chimneys, etc. In terms of shingles, we installed Cambridge Architectural Shingles in the color Earthtone Cedar. In terms of Gutter guards, we installed 5-foot MicroGuard Gutter Guards by Englert. Lastly, we removed and replaced all flashing around the chimney with brand new lead flashing. This home is now complete thanks to Klaus Larsen Roofing!
This single-family home in Columbia, Connecticut was in need of a roof and skylight replacement. After tearing off one layer of existing roofing material, we replaced all damaged sheets of plywood decking. We then installed 2 rows of ice & water barrier near all roof eaves, valleys, chimneys etc. In terms of shingles, we installed a Klaus Larsen Roofing System with IKO Cambridge Architectural Shingles in the color Dual Black. In terms of skylights, we installed 2 new Velux S06 Skylights. We finished the job by removing and replacing the existing chimney flashing with brand new lead flashing. This unique cape-style home located in Columbia, CT was in need of a roof replacement as it was showing signs of aging and wear. We took on this project by first tearing off the first layer of existing roofing material. Upon inspection of the roof decking, we found 3 damaged plywood decking sheets and replaced them promptly. We then installed two rows of Ice & Water Barrier as well as a layer of Synthetic Underlayment to protect the home from the elements. For the shingles, we installed a Klaus Larsen Roofing System using Cambridge Architectural Shingles in the Dual Black colorway. We finished this job by installing a new ridge vent to provide ventilation to the attic as well as replacing the flashing on the chimneys. At this 1960's colonial style home located in Willington, CT we completely tore off the existing roof and installed a new roofing system. After we stripped the existing shingles and hauled them to the Asphalt Roof Recycling Center in Stratford, CT we replaced 4 sheets of damaged plywood decking. To finish this roof off, we removed and replaced all of the lead chimney flashing to ensure that no water can come through the chimney to the interior of the home. This roof comes with a 50-year warranty so the homeowner can go through the rainy months ahead, worry free!
This small two family home's roof in Willington, CT has seen better days and was in need of a replacement. To start this project we tore away and disposed of one layer of existing asphalt roofing. We then inspected the roof's deck, where we found 5 damaged sheets of plywood decking which were then removed and replaced. Two rows of Ice & Water Barrier were installed to protect the home from the elements. For shingles, we installed a Klaus Larsen Roofing System with Cambridge Architectural Shingles in the Dual Grey colorway. To finish this project we installed a brand new chimney lead flashing and a vent pipe to replace the old ones. This home is now complete thanks to Klaus Larsen Roofing!
