We started by tearing off one layer of existing roofing material, and 3 layers of damaged plywood decking. We then installed 3 rows of Ice & Water Barrier near all eaves, valleys, chimneys, as well as the entire sunroom roof deck. In terms of shingles, we installed a traditional gay ashphalt shincle. Further, we installed a custom bent aluminum flashing detail on the eave of the roof near the sunroom, to prevent leaking. We finished by removing and replacing flashing on the chimney with brand new lead flashing. This house is now complete thanks to Klaus Larsen Roofing!
