This one-family home in Cheshire was in need of a roof replacement due to signs of aging and wear. To start this project we tore away one existing layer of roofing materials and cleaned up all debris, including using a magnetic roller to ensure nail cleanup. We then evaluated the condition of the roof deck and discovered that there were 5 damaged sheets of plywood decking that were in need of a replacement. Two rows of IKO Gold Shield Ice & Water Barrier were installed to protect the roof from the elements, and a Stormtite Synthetic Underlayment was installed to repel water. For shingles, we installed a Klaus Larsen Roofing System using IKO Cambridge Architectural Shingles in the Charcoal Grey colorway. To finish this job, we replaced the existing vent pipe boot and chimney flashing. This Cheshire home is now complete thanks to Klaus Larsen Roofing.
This single-family home in Chesire, CT was in need of a roof replacement. We started the process by tearing off one layer of existing roofing material and replacing 5 layers of damaged plywood decking. We then installed 3 rows of Ice & Water Barrier near all eaves, valleys, chimneys etcWe finished the job by removing and replacing all chimney flashing with brand new lead flashing. This house is now complete, thanks to Klaus Larsen Roofing!
The Klaus Larsen team set out to Milldale to complete a roof replacement in Milldale, CT. After tearing up the old plywood decking, new decking was installed. White aluminum drip edge/rake was installed near the outside perimeter of the roof.
This homeowner in Southington, CT contacted us because he had water damage from lower level shingles, that had managed to reach the internal walls of his house.
