Roof Replacement Before & After Photos

This single family home was in need of a new roof and trusted Klaus Larsen Roofing with the job. After tearing off one layer of existing roofing materials, we replaced 5 sheets of damaged plywood decking. We then installed 2 rows of ice & water barrier near all roof eaves, valleys, chimneys, etc. In terms of shingles, we installed a Klaus Larsen Roofing System with IKO Cambridge Architectural Shingles in the color Weatherwood. After installing purpose-made hip and ridge shingles, we installed a ridge vent to keep consistent attic ventilation. We finished the job by replacing the flashing on all chimneys with brand new lead flashing. This house is now complete, thanks to Klaus Larsen Roofing!

This was a nineteen year old roof that had curling shingles. This can be caused by any number of things. If your attic is not vented properly, the trapped heat can cause the shingle material to warp and deteriorate. Improper instillation can also cause curling to happen prematurely. This project, in Simsbury, CT included three rows of Ice & Water shield, new PERMA vent pipe boots and a Velux skylight.

We also flashed the cupola and provided a full ventilation system with a Solar Fan, keeping the atmosphere inside this restaurant consistently comfortable.
