John reached out to us with the nicest review. Telling us here at Klaus Larsen Roofing how happy he was with how professional the guys that were and the outstanding work that was done to his home. He was so happy with the work that was done on his home that he is recommending us to his friends and family.
A home in New Britain was due for a new roof since the home had the same roof from when the home was built in 1978.
Once algae starts to grow on the north facing side of your roof, it's difficult to stop the spores from spreading. The dark streaks are mostly cosmetic, but in time they will join forces with lichen to thrive off the limestone in your asphalt shingles. This weakens the shingle, and eventually deteriorates the entire roof. We gave this New Britain, CT home a fresh start with architectural-style asphalt shingles. Klaus also recommends using zinc strips down the line, to really keep those spores away.
This Tariffville home had some leaking in an upstairs bedroom along with black algae stains, which can be a common symptom of malfunctioning asphalt shingles. Beneath the top layer is a ProArmor Synthetic underlayment. This durable, tear-resistant material is engineered to repel water and to adhere to the roofing surface.
Here we have a home in Tarrifville that needed a new roof but also had another major issue. The chimney was damaged and needed to be completely rebuilt from the roof up. Not only did the roof and chimney need to be replaced but the project needed to be done before the end of the month. A chimney problem usually isn't something a roofer will usually handle and cab delay the project for weeks. Hiring a contractor who has expertise in both will keep the project short and simple. The entire project was completed in one day.
