This house in Woodstock CT was in need of a new roof. To start the process we tore off and disposed of one layer of existing roofing material, and replaced 5 sheets of damaged plywood decking. We installed 2 rows of ice & water near all roof eaves, valleys, chimneys etc. In terms of shingles, we installed IKO Cambridge Shingles in the color Dual Brown. We installed a brand new ridge vent to ensure consistent attic ventilation. We finished the job by removing and replacing the existing chimney flashing with brand new lead flashing. The roof on this lovely colonial home in North Woodstock, CT had seen better days and was in need of a roof replacement. With the new decking sheets in position, we then layed down two layers of Ice & Water Barrier to protect the house from rain, sleet, and snow. For additional water resistance, Synthetic Underlayment was adhered to the roof's surface in the spots that were not covered by the Ice & Water Barrier. When it came to the shingles, we installed a Klaus Larsen Roofing System, using Cambridge Architectural Shingles in the Harvard Slate colorway.
