This ranch style home in Killingworth was in need of a new roof. After tearing off one layer of existing roofing materials, we replaced 3 sheets of damaged plywood decking. In accordance with the new building code requirements, we sealed all roof deck joints with flashing tape, as well as installing 2 rows of ice & water barrier near all roof eaves, valleys, chimneys, etc. We installed a Klaus Larsen Roofing System with IKO Cambridge Architectural Shingles in the color Charcoal Grey. We finished the job by removing and replacing flashing on the chimneys with brand new lead flashing. This house is now complete, thanks to Klaus Larsen Roofing!

Autumn is an ideal time for us to work, as it's right in between the two most damaging seasons to your roof. For this job in Glastonbury, two layers of shingles had to be removed prior to installation. The new roof shown here has Designer Color Merlot shingles with a VentSure ridge vent. We also removed and replaced the fascia boards and installed aluminum seamless gutter guards.

On this tudor style home in Glastonbury, CT we encountered a steep, twenty nine year old roof with several leaks. After tear off, we replaced the rotted plywood panels and rafters. The entire shed Dormer deck was then covered with a protective layer of Ice & Water shield. This project was unique in how we removed and replaced all of the chimney flashing with copper instead of lead. We also installed copper flashing in the dormer valleys above the garage.
