Roof Replacement Before & After Photos

This single family home in Enfield, CT was in need of a new roof. After tearing off one layer of existing roofing material, we replaced 2 damaged sheets of plywood decking. We then covered the entire roof deck with two rows of Tribuilt ice & water barrier to protect the interior from the outside elements. For the asphalt shingles, we installed a Klaus Larsen Roofing System with IKO Cambridge Architectural Shingles in the color Dual Grey. We finished the job by removing and replacing the existing flashing on the chimney with brand new lead flashing. This house is now complete thanks to Klaus Larsen Roofing! 

Some jobs have unexpected obstacles, like on this house in Portland. Upon removing the old roof, we found a gaping hole in the original construction. This required a full underlying structure rebuild to make it all one plane. With a foundation now providing support underneath, the finished roof turned out fantastic and much sturdier. This project entailed the tear off and recycling of one layer of shingles, followed by the installation of a roofing system. The underlayment we use is completely resistant to tear, and provides an extremely water tight seal. We are very proud of this job!

Twenty years had gone by since this Gambrel style roof in Portland, CT was replaced. This type of construction dates back to the late 1600s and is perfect for providing more living space and for accommodating future additions. For this job we installed Ice & Water ahead of the drip edge, before extending it to wrap under the fascia. The existing gutter straps were reinstalled under Estate Gray shingles, as part of a complete OC roofing system.
