The roof here on this colonial home in South Glastonbury was pushing 30 years, with a total of two layers to remove. Three rows of Ice & Water shield brought an extra layer of modern protection to this classic style home. We also removed and replaced all of the existing siding and replaced it with new wood clapboard siding.
This home in South Glastonbury, CT needed a roof replacement, specifically over the home's sunroom. To begin this project we tore off and disposed of one layer of roofing material. Two damaged sheets of plywood roof decking were found and replaced promptly. Gold Shield Ice and Water was applied to the whole roof deck. For shingles, we installed a Klaus Larsen Roofing System using Cambridge Architectural Shingles in the Driftwood colorway. This sunroom is complete thanks to Klaus Larsen Roofing!
What a difference a day makes. Here was a modern style architecture home located in Killingworth, CT. There was a great deal of visual deterioration, with a large amount of moss and curled shingles. ProArmor Synthetic underlayment was used underneath, for added protection against moisture penetration. Cleanup was a challenge, as the home was located on a hill overlooking a large body of water. Klaus Larsen always makes sure to leave a property looking better than we found it, and this replacement turned out awesome!
Built in 2002, this single family home in Killingworth, CT was experiencing leaking in the home. After investigating, a sales representative figured out that nails were coming loose and that's where the water was coming from. Being 16 years old as well, the roof required all damaged plywood decking to be replaced as well as 3 rows of shield to be installed. A new, white aluminum drip edge/rake flashing was installed along the entire outside perimeter of the roof. The existing vent pipe was removed and replaced. A new bathroom exhaust vent hood was put in with a built-in damper. Architectural-style asphalt shingles in the color of Estate Gray, finished off this awesome project!
This stunning single-family home in Killingworth, CT was in need of a new roof. After tearing off one layer of existing roofing material, we installed a complete new plywood deck to the roof. We then removed the capped vent pipe from the family room and installed Smart Vent eave vents along all upper roof eaves. After covering all exposed roof decking with ice & water barrier, we installed a Klaus Larsen Roofing System with IKO Cambridge Architectural Shingles in the color Weatherwood. We finished the job by installing a 10-inch impact dome sun tunnel by Velux. This house is now complete thanks to Klaus Larsen Roofing!
