Paul in South Glastonbury, CT, reached out when it was time to update the roof on his main home. After our inspection, we recommended a full replacement to make sure the house stayed protected through future storms and seasonal weather. Our crew began by removing the aging shingles and checking the decking for any weak or damaged areas that needed attention. Once the surface was solid, we installed our SealoronXT Ice & Water along the eaves and other vulnerable spots, followed by VeloraONE Underlayment across the rest of the roof to create a dependable barrier. With the base fully secured, we finished the project with IKO Dynasty shingles in Granite Black, giving Paul’s home a sharp new look and a strong roofing system built to last.
What a difference a day makes. Here was a modern style architecture home located in Killingworth, CT. There was a great deal of visual deterioration, with a large amount of moss and curled shingles. ProArmor Synthetic underlayment was used underneath, for added protection against moisture penetration. Cleanup was a challenge, as the home was located on a hill overlooking a large body of water. Klaus Larsen always makes sure to leave a property looking better than we found it, and this replacement turned out awesome!
Built in 2002, this single family home in Killingworth, CT was experiencing leaking in the home. After investigating, a sales representative figured out that nails were coming loose and that's where the water was coming from. Being 16 years old as well, the roof required all damaged plywood decking to be replaced as well as 3 rows of shield to be installed. A new, white aluminum drip edge/rake flashing was installed along the entire outside perimeter of the roof. The existing vent pipe was removed and replaced. A new bathroom exhaust vent hood was put in with a built-in damper. Architectural-style asphalt shingles in the color of Estate Gray, finished off this awesome project!

We then removed the capped vent pipe from the family room and installed Smart Vent eave vents along all upper roof eaves. After covering all exposed roof decking with ice & water barrier, we installed a Klaus Larsen Roofing System with IKO Cambridge Architectural Shingles in the color Weatherwood. We finished the job by installing a 10-inch impact dome sun tunnel by Velux. This house is now complete thanks to Klaus Larsen Roofing!
This ranch style home in Killingworth was in need of a new roof. After tearing off one layer of existing roofing materials, we replaced 3 sheets of damaged plywood decking.
