Caitlin in Glastonbury, CT, reached out to us after noticing that a roof leak had started to cause wood rot inside her attic crawlspace. Her roof was around 15 years old, and once the water damage began spreading, she knew it was time to address the problem before it escalated into something more significant. After inspecting the home, our team recommended a full roof replacement so the new system could protect the structure the way it should. Once the project was underway, we removed the old shingles, replaced any compromised plywood, and installed a complete Klaus Larsen Roofing system designed to prevent future leaks. The new IKO Dynasty shingles in Summit Gray gave the home a clean, sharp look and, more importantly, a roof Caitlin can depend on moving forward. The Klaus Roofing Way!
This duplex in Glastonbury was on the market and the owner was in the process of selling it. The roof, however, had 3-tab shingles that were old and had been patched with tar several times already. We replaced the old roof with new shingles, replaced the chimney flashing, and vent boots. On top of all that, we remove and reinstalled the lightning rod system that was attached to the roof.
A brand new roof was put on in Glastonbury, CT after the homeowner noticed there were missing shingles.
A beautiful home in Glastonbury, Connecticut had major roof problems and waiting a little too long to act on the new roof, regardless, when the job was done, it looked amazing! The home looks much newer!
This 1996 Colonial-style home located in Glastonbury, CT had its original roof and was in desperate need of a new one. The backside had to be replaced a few years back due to ice dams but the rest of the house roof still needed to be replaced. To start, we first stripped off the old roofing material and replaced 4 sheets of damaged plywood decking. We then laid down three rows of Weatherlock G Ice & Water Shield to protect the home from any outside moisture. Because the backside of the garage was already replaced we had to carefully match the remainder of the shingles so that it would blend in. To top it off, we installed VentSure Ridge Vents to provide consistent attic ventilation to the home.
