Roof Replacement Before & After Photos

This lovely single family home in Ellington, CT was in need of a roof replacement and we gave them just that! To start we tore off one existing layer of roofing materials and disposed of them properly. We then inspected and replaced one damaged sheet of plywood decking. Ice & Water Barrier was applied in two rows to ensure protection from all weather conditions and a Synthetic Underlayment was applied in the spots where there was no Ice & Water Barrier. We then installed a Klaus Larsen Roofing System using Cambridge Architectural Shingles in the Dual Black colorway. To finish off this project, we installed a new ridge vent to keep consistent attic ventilation and gave both chimneys new lead flashings. This home is now complete thanks to Klaus Larsen Roofing!

Seeking a contractor to carry out a roof replacement, owners of this 1994 Colonial-style home trusted Klaus Larsen Roofing with the job. We started by tearing off one layer of existing roofing materials, as well as replacing 5 layers of damaged plywood decking.Next, we installed three rows of Ice & Water Barrier near roof valleys, eaves, chimneys, etc. For shingles, we installed Oakridge Shingles in the color Estate Gray. These shingles included an Algae-Resistance Limited Warranty as well as a 130 MPH Wind Resistance Warranty. Lastly, we removed and replaced flashing on the chimney with brand new lead flashing. This raised ranch home located in Moodus, CT had a roof well over 20 years old. This roof was in need of a full roof replacement and installation of a new roofing system. We stripped the existing roof and replaced any damaged plywood decking. Then, we laid down Ice & Water Shield to protect the interior of the home from any moisture. To follow the Ice & Water Shield we laid down ProArmor Synthetic Underlayment to add a second layer of moisture and water repellant. To finish this roofing system off, we put in ProEdge Hip & Ridge Shingles on all ridges and hips and replaced the existing vent pipe boot.
