Challenge
This raised ranch in Old Lyme, CT had a 35 year old roof. Although there was no leaking, the rafters were broken and the owners were looking to re-do the roof. After contacting Klaus Larsen, the sales representative saw that the roof was actually sagging and it was showing its age.
Solution
3 rows of Owens Corning Weatherlock G Ice & Water shield was installed, along with new plywood that was reframed to reinforce roof structure. New lead flashing was installed, along with one skylight. Owens Corning Duration TruDefinition shingles, in the color of Teak, were used for the finishing touch.
