Jeffery in Groton, CT, moved forward with a full roof replacement on his home to ensure long-term protection and proper ventilation throughout the main roof system. Our team removed the existing materials and installed a brand-new roofing system designed to perform in all seasons.

The roof was completed in the color Frostone Gray, giving the home a clean, updated appearance. As part of the project, we installed SmartVent intake ventilation along all eaves of the main roof to improve airflow and help regulate attic temperature and moisture. The SmartVent system was also incorporated to serve as exhaust ventilation around the EPDM roof section, creating balanced airflow across the entire roofing system.

The owners had an old roof that was standing on its last leg. They knew they had to replace it soon or otherwise they would have real problems. It was not simple, however, because they had several old dome skylights in their porch. Skylights are an extra cost to replace and the owners didn't use them much. After our crews tore off the roof, the removed the skylights are installed new 1/2" CDX plywood over the openings. Once the skylights openings were sealed the roofing system could go over the framing.
