The existing roof was approximately 25 years old and had reached the point where replacement made sense. While there were no active leaks or major roofing concerns, the homeowners had recently learned that their insurance company would not provide coverage for a roof of that age. Because the roof was straightforward and in otherwise stable condition, the project focused on replacing the aging materials with a new roofing system that would provide long-term protection and help meet insurance requirements. The crew worked efficiently to remove the old roof and prepare the home for its upgrade.

For the finished look, Rob and Sarah selected IKO Dynasty shingles in Glacier. The light, crisp color gave the home a refreshed appearance and added a clean contrast to the exterior.

This ranch style house located in Uncasville, CT was in need of a new architectural asphalt shingle roof replacement. This home had both the main house and a studio addition which both needed new roofing systems. We stripped the existing roof and replaced all 13 sheets of plywood decking to ensure the structure of the roof.
